1.     Website url – One of the first and most important consideration when starting an online business is choosing a domain name. Such great online business decision is geared toward building a better brand, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing and the general success impact of your website.

Your website domain name is your website url. This is more precisely a custom domain name (ex: mywebsite.com) for professionalism, Search engine optimization (SEO) and more of business advantages, and not a free website which is usually an ugly web urls (ex: mywebsite.wordpresss.com or mywebsite.blogspot.com) with lot of impediment to your online business success.

For better SEO results, it’s pertinent to go for normal domain name (ex: mywebsite.com), and avoid choosing domain name with underscore (ex: my_website.com) but domain name with hyphen (ex: my-website.com) instead.

Your website url should be direct, simple and specific. It must also contain at least one keyword.

Purchasing domain name that contain your keyword phrase targeted customers helps in increasing CTR and higher ranking in Google, Bing and other major search engines is a good choice. For example, you want to start selling ‘Walkie Talkie’ online and get rank high buy search engines, you should consider buying a domain name like Walkietalkie.com because, it’s an exactly match domain (EMD) name with your keyword phrase. This alone would help your website ranking factors of getting seen on top pages search engines with related search regarding Walkie Talkie.

Matching domain name to your targeted keywords does offers benefits, but there other important factors regarding your online business success, which is the brandability of your domain name.

Your brand awareness and loyalty is the most what would make you stand out and be different from the crowd. Your brand is important, and your domain name is the foundation upon which your online brand will be built. Your domain is how users will fine, remember, share and identify your company online.

The first step to building brand is choosing a brandable domain name. While some marketers think SEO is only about keyword and links, the reality is that Google like brand. Google CEO Eric Schmidt once said “Brand is the solution, not the problem. Brand is how you sort out the cesspool. Brand affinity is clearly hard-wired. It is so fundamental to human existence that it’s not going away.

2Title page – Your page or post title is an important on-page SEO. It should also contain at least one of your major keyword. In general sense, the closer keyword is to the beginning of the title tag, the more density it has with search engines.

Your page title or blog post urls appears in the top tab of your browser, and are what your prospective audience and potential customers will first see, when making a related keyword search term on the search engines.

Since Google by default shows your blog title before post title, and only about 65 character of it on the search engine, it is better to optimize your blog post url such that it appears first on the search engines result before blog title for increasing search traffic, CTR, PR and more of quality targeted organic visitors to your website.

Header tags are used to differentiate the blog post heading form sub-headings. There are total header tags of h1 – h6, which form a top-down hierarchy. For example, H1 in a page or post is more relevance in keyword compare to h3.

Ordinarily, every page or post should have an h1 tag as its more superior than other tags in SEO. However, header tags should be arranged or initiated into blog post well, and must follow the hierarchical structure for better SEO result. This means that if you introduce h1 and then jump to h4, the heading structure of the post hierarchy will be broken.

The heading h1 to h6 on your website must be clear, specific and well searchable.

Not just for Google and other search engine considering your blog infographic, a clear and concise image for your blog page or post will worth a thousand words for what your site page or post content is trying to illustrate to the reader, and also increases the social media clicks.

Other than the important of the best resonated image for your blog page or post, the image file name even play more important SEO role because, search engine not only crawl the text on your webpages, but also search for keyword within your image file name.

The image file name you choose should reflect what the image is; contain one or more keyword(s) for page or blog post. Avoid hyphens and use underscores instead for file names.

5.     Image alt tag name Image alt tag name for blog page or post url are the alternative text name for image that shows when the image fails to load. Such alternate tag for website or blog image can also be seen if the site image loads well, when the mouse within the image hovered.

Associating the right keyword for image to image file name by adding appropriate alt tag name to images will help your website achieve improved search engine ranking.

Another reason for optimizing website image for better search engines is the fact that it gives search engines another clue of what your page is about. This also will help your blog pages or post images appear in Google image, web search and rank in organic search.
