Automatically Share your Published Blogger Posts to Google plus

Automatically Share your Published Blogger Posts to Google plus
As important as social media marketing to a successful online business, individually sharing your blog posts to preferred social media for building conservation, audience, and engagement does takes time. Thus, on the 9th Sept. 2013, Google announced automatically sharing new Blogspot or Blogger blog posts publicly to Google+ as soon as you hit the publish tab.

Provided you have an active Google plus account and blogging on Blogspot or Blogger blog, you can automatically share your immediate published posts on Google+. This task is done as soon as you’ve clicked on the ‘publish tab’ of the ‘new post’ page.

However, it integration is not made by default; you have to manually enable or disable it.

There are two options in the automatically sharing of new Blogger posts to Google plus which includes “Auto-share new published posts to your Google+ profile” and “Prompt to share after posting”, which both can be found in the ‘Share to Google+’ of the setting tab of your Blogspot or Blogger dashboard.

The “Auto-share new published posts to your Google+ profile” automatically share the just published blog post with no further click, while the “Prompt to share after posting” which is seemingly the best option simply because it enables you to see the comment or the pop up empty box auto generated Google plus profile or page linked to your Blogspot or Blogger blog, where you could enter the few line of words before hitting the share button.

You can choose to disable (NO) both options – “Auto-share new published posts to your Google+ profile” and “Prompt to share after posting” if you don’t want to share your post to Google+, though, you can still share your posts to Google plus un-automatically and outside integrated social share buttons using the “share” link next to “edit”, “view”, and “delete” in the "New Post" page.

If you choose not to use the default Blogger commenting system by enabling Google+ commenting system in Blogger, any replies on Google+ appears on your blog.

Before the automatically share of new Blogger posts to Google plus can work for you, you must connect your Google+ with your Blogspot or Blogger so that the both account can work together.

And, since automatically sharing of your new blogger posts to Google plus requires you connecting your Google+ profile with Blogger, this means you must be using Google plus profile rather than using Blogger profile to be able to activate that.

So, if you are using Blogger profile on your blog, you must switch or revert  profile from Blogger to Google plus as well as link it to your Blogspot or Blogger blog.

Enabling automatic new blogger posts shared to Google+

Follow the simple steps bellow if you want to automatically share your new posts to Google+ in Blogger;

1. Login to your Blogspot or Blogger dashboard.

2. Select the blog you want update.

3. In the left menu of the Blogger dashboard, click on “Settings”.

4. Now, click on “Posts, comments and sharing”.

5. Scroll down and find “Share to Google+”.

6. Tick the first option “Auto-share new published posts to your Google+ profile” to (YES).

7. Thereafter, click on "Save settings".

In conclusion, automatically sharing of your Blogspot or Blogger posts after published is great because it saves you time, increases traffic, showcases your face in search engine snippet and builds your Google authorship.
