How to submit blogger sitemap to Google webmaster tool.

Submitting a Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools would increase the chances of your website being notice by the search engines.

A sitemap is an XML document on your website’s server that basically lists each page on your website. It tells search engines when new pages have been added and how often to check back for changes on specific pages.

So, how can you get your blogger site successful submitted to Google Webmaster Tool? Simply follow the below step by step guidelines with screenshot.

  • Get into your Google account webmaster tool as seen in the image below. Right there, you can add your website by clicking on ‘Add Property” or click on the blog title for which you want to add a site map if the site url already added

     Thereafter, it would take you to a new page with your current blog status. See the screenshot below.

Now, click on the sitemap button as seen on the circled area of the above image, which would take you to the next page as seen in the image below.

    Now, click on the red tab that says “Add/Test Sitemap Button”. See the image below.


Lastly, simply add or type in “atom.xml" at the space box of the pop up window after your site url as seem in the image and the press submit button. After that, refresh the page.
