Why your business is better than your job

Formally, we talked about why your job is better than your business; in today’s article, we are going to focus on why your business is better than your job.

The modern norms and perception is that ‘it is better to build your own business and become a boss’, than being trapped by 9-to-5 day time job that continuously keeps you broke.

In spite of such a cliche statement, quitting your job to start a business is risky, and often stressful. The fear of uncertainty is one of the biggest reasons why people choose to rather stay in their jobs. However, it is better to stay on your job, when you know that you lack the temperament to run a business, and you lack a viable business ideas, skills, and strategies of streamlining business operations and processes into reliable growth and sustainable profit.

Furthermore, should in case you choose to stay in business, it is a wise decision to conduct a proper market research, to be sure that your business idea is viable and realistic, and is in line with the market demand, with a guarantee of sustaining you into a reliable growths and profits, before quitting your job to start entrepreneurial business.

Why we considered business better than a job

Knowing the perks of working at home and the reasons you started in a first place, will help keep you MOTIVATED , and strengthen your mindset enough to learn the skill you need to recruit the prospects, run the sales and manage your business via offline or online.

Focusing on the perks or blessings of working at home gives you the big picture of your goal like - what do you want to achieve and how? In my case, I was pretty hopeless at recruiting online at first and I made a lot of expensive mistakes, but I was motivated enough not to give up; Every time I screwed up, I also gained experience, kept on working and gradually got better at it.... I still screwed up from time to time, but less often and less spectacularly.

I WILL HELP YOU. A good way to avoid expensive mistakes early on in your business is to make contacts with a mentor who can use his or her experience to guide you through the internet marketing minefield. I am not pitching to sell you an ‘expensive mentoring service' at this stage, but I am available to offer free advice if you have a specific question about the Internet or Network marketing Business. THOUGH, I personally run coaching and mentor-ship program.

If you would like to know whether or not I would recommend a particular program or method of promoting your business, drop me a line either by asking your question, or reaching me using our contact page.

Just as there are several reasons running your own Home Based Business much better than your job, one of the most exiting works at home perk is the FLEXIBILITY it offers you.

When you run your own business, you do not worry about getting permission from the boss for holidays or families events. If you feel unwell, you can spent the time quietly recovering in bed, or going to see the doctor if you need to.

When you work at home, you do not need to clear it with your supervisors if you need to leave work early to pick your child. You do not have to work hours that someone else specifies. Your schedule is completely your own. If you prefer to work in 'the whole hour of the night' so you can leverage the TIME with your loved ones while they're awake, then you are free to do so.

When you work at home, you can be as free as you wish without worrying about whether you risk losing your job. You are in total control, and choose when to work your business or otherwise. You can also run your business if taken online from any part of the world, provided you have an internet connection, unlike your job which you are trapped.

When you established a Home Business, another perk is the SENSE OF STABILITY that comes from home. In this economy, even the most dedicated employees sometimes find themselves being retrenched or sacked. But when you work from home, you never have to worry about being fired or downsized because you are the boss.

Running your business allow you the freedom to change directions, work your own hours, avoid the frustrating commute and the knowledge that you never have to worry about being laid off again. Plus, it is so much exciting BUILDING something yourself and seeing it take off than working for someone else to build their business.

It also gives you tremendous sense of stability, courage and energy. Therefore, the perfect time to commit your dream will never come. There is no such thing as being fully prepared. There are things you can never learn or prepare for except by actually doing them.

In addition to getting to decide the direction your business heads, you will also be cutting down the time it takes to get back and forth to work. For many people, their daily commute represents time that could be better spent on other activities like connecting with new prospects, team members, and building your business brand. Both of these activities are essential to having a successful business.

For the entrepreneurs, working at home the longest commute is from the shower to computer, via the coffee-maker. Not having to commute to work frees up valuable work time, being ultimately subjected to someone else job, when you work, when you take time off and how much you earn.

If you like your job, that’s cool. I know there are some people out there who are fulfilled by their job, (although I suspect you might not be totally satisfied if you’re still reading this). Most people I know pretty much hate their very own jobs. They complain about the people, the commute, the pay, the hours, the lack of sufficient vacation, the lack of time and general control over their lives.

The empirical fact is 95% of these people will work a job until they retire or die. So, it’s important to ask yourself what you want your life to be like let say in the next 10 to 20 years coming. Do you want that kind of life – working entirely for someone else at the expense of your life, doing what you don’t really like doing such that later, you only feel like you never tested yourself? Or, like you never stretched your limits and capabilities, and experienced everything you possibly could in life?

If you feel like your job is keeping you from living the life you really want to live, hear this again, the freedom to pursue happiness and live the life you desire is the greatest gift of the 21st century.

It is very easy to start a small business and have it run to a sustainable growth and reliable profit especially in this internet age, compare to the huge hurdle often associated with finding and securing a job, or hoping for job, which is one of the career killers.

Fear is what keeps most people from doing extraordinary things in life. Most people choose to stay in a job they hate because they’re scared alternative. They’re afraid they don’t have what it takes, that they’ll fail miserably and become homeless and embarrassed.  Working for yourself is one of the most challenging and rewarding things you will do.

In starting your own business be it big or small, the worst days working for yourself is certainly to make you feel terrified, worried, anxious and full of self –doubt. You may be thinking you made a huge mistake and trying to convince yourself that you don’t have what it takes, but even that day will be better than the best day you work for someone else.

It may not be on the surface but deep-down there is still a sense of purpose and satisfaction that can only come from pursuing self reliance in its highest form.

With the concept of starting, organizing and managing your own venture as a leader with new innovating ideas and business process, entrepreneurship is much cooler than it was years ago and now seen as a modern day rock-stars. The thought of becoming one is extremely appealing.

As a business owner, the whole huge and continuous increase of the internet users makes leveraging the labor of other people, machines and software to generate more income than you could earn through your own individual labor.

An online business can be developed into a stable and almost auto-piloted source of revenue. Social security’s reserves estimated to run dry by 2033, the young generation needs to think outside the box about alternative source of income when they reach retirement age. Instead of relying on the 9-to-5 employee retirement plan, an entrepreneur has full control of his or her financial future.

Nothing turns you into adult quicker than the responsibilities of owning a business.  Running a business introduces you to many life lessons, and being introduced to them at the early stage of your business will allow you to learn and develop into a more balanced person, brand or company sooner.

In most big company or a renounce brand, working your own business gives you the freedom to become your own boss. As a business owner, it is your responsibility to employ people. People now serve you instead of otherwise. You are now in a position of paying people instead of you being paid for the job. You are now in a position of administering responsibilities, delegating task and managing the general affairs of your business.

As a boss of your business and company, true leaders don’t just wait to be told of what to do – they think strategically about what need to be done, and then do them. They look for needs and then provide solutions. It is his or her role to grace the privileges of becoming a problem solver, products or services provider.

Inclusion, I guess this article has added one or more point of proving your business better than your job? Let's hear your take on this.
